While working on a multimillion-pound cybersecurity project for large corporates, I saw firsthand how large enterprises invest heavily in protecting their digital assets. Yet, at the same time, I heard in the news that London hospitals were forced to cancel operations due to a cyberattack - not on them directly, but on a critical supplier. This was a wake-up call!

Despite being the backbone of economies and supply chains, small-to-medium business (SMBs) often lack the resources, expertise, and access to specialist cybersecurity skills needed to protect themselves. Cybersecurity has long been an elite industry, dominated by large corporations with the budgets and in-house teams to defend against threats - leaving smaller businesses vulnerable to devastating attacks. Without the right protection, many SMBs remain exposed, unaware of the risks until it’s too late.
